About MyQR
What is MyQR?
The MyQR Sticker is a 10cm × 10cm sticker for the inside of your windshield. When someone scans it, MyQRContact lets them reach you for the right reason — without exposing your phone number. It's built for Malaysian drivers by Platehaus.
Do I need an app to use it?
No. Anyone can scan your MyQR sticker with their phone camera — no app or download needed to reach you. You manage your own details and records in the Plate Dashboard.
Will people see my personal phone number?
No. People reach you through MyQRContact via WhatsApp, Telegram, a phone call, or email — without ever seeing your actual number. You stay reachable while your details stay private.
Setup & activation
How do I set up my MyQR sticker?
Stick it inside your windshield, scan it once to activate, then link your preferred contact methods in the Plate Dashboard. Setup takes just a few minutes.
Where should I place the sticker?
On the inside of your windshield, so it's easy to scan from outside but protected from the weather. The 10cm × 10cm size is designed to scan quickly.
Can I change my contact details later?
Yes. Update your contact methods, contact reasons, and emergency contact anytime from the Plate Dashboard.
Contact & safety
What can people contact me about?
Only real, useful reasons — for example: your car needs to be moved (blocking or double-parked), the alarm is going off, lights left on, it's about to be towed or clamped, a minor scrape was reported, or an emergency.
Which contact methods are supported?
WhatsApp, Telegram, phone call, and email. You choose which ones to enable so people reach you the way you prefer.
Is my privacy protected?
Yes. Your number stays private — every contact is routed through MyQRContact, so you're reachable without putting your personal details on the windshield.
Records & reminders
What is the Plate Dashboard?
It's your car's memory: service history, battery, tyres, insurance and more — plus reminders for road tax, insurance, and maintenance so you stay ahead instead of scrambling at the last minute.
Is there a subscription fee?
The Plate Dashboard is included with your MyQR — lifetime access, no subscription.
What reminders will I get?
Renewal reminders for road tax and insurance, plus servicing and maintenance reminders — so the important dates don't slip past you.
Emergency
What happens in an emergency?
If you're ever unresponsive after an accident or medical emergency, MyQRContact can route to your emergency contact — so the people who love you aren't the last to know.
Who can I set as my emergency contact?
Anyone you trust — a family member or a close friend. You can set and update them anytime in the Plate Dashboard.
