Our story
Platehaus makes everyday car ownership calmer: reachable when it counts, on top of every renewal, and connected to the people you love.
Your car spends most of its life without you. We think that shouldn't mean you're the last to know when something happens to it — or that your family should be the last to reach you if something happens to you.
What actually happens to my car while I'm not there? It's parked and alone for most of the day, and if anything goes wrong — a scrape, an alarm, a tow — I'd be the last to find out. That small, nagging worry is one almost every driver quietly carries.
Printing your phone number on the windscreen works, but it hands your number to every stranger and telemarketer who walks by. And it does nothing for the other quiet worries — the forgotten service, a missed MOT or vehicle tax date, or the emergency where your family needs to be reached. We wanted one calm answer to all of it.
One windscreen sticker, three kinds of peace of mind: always reachable about your car, never caught out by a renewal, and always connected to the people who matter. No app needed to scan it, no number on the glass, and a Plate Dashboard that remembers everything so you don't have to.
Every feature exists to help you feel ready before something happens — not to scramble after.
No fake reviews, no invented numbers, no dark patterns. We'd rather earn trust slowly than fake it fast.
From all-day car parks to storms and roadside checks, MyQR is designed for how people actually drive.
People can reach you without ever seeing your phone number on the windscreen.
If something ever happens to you, someone can reach your next-of-kin through it. That's the part we care about most.
